TREE DRIVE - EVERYONE NEEDS TO SIGN UP FOR ONE DAY by 12/17!

Posted on Nov 28 2022 - 6:10pm

Hi, it’s almost time for the Christmas Tree Pick-Up Drive.  As our biggest fundraiser of the year, this pays for our Scout House expenses and for many of the activities we do throughout the year.

We require all Scouts to participate for at least one pick-up day. This year, you can choose from December 31st (Sat), January 7th(Sat), or January 8th (Sun), all days run from 7am to 2pm.

Adults, we can use all of the help we can get as box truck drivers or chase car drivers (following behind trucks with the Scouts who load the trees at each pick-up location) – please indicate, in the registration Notes field, how you would like to contribute.

WE ARE ASKING THAT EVERYONE REGISTER ON THE SCOUT SITE BY 12/17 AS WE NEED TO PREPARE OUR ROUTES, CREWS, AND TRUCK RESERVATIONS:

Saturday, Dec 31st signup : https://www.hinghamtroop1.com/node/3760
Saturday, Jan 7th signup : https://www.hinghamtroop1.com/node/3761
Sunday, Jan 8th signup : https://www.hinghamtroop1.com/node/3762

Every year this event has been a fun experience for the scouts, and kept our Troop programs thriving.

Thank you in advance for your help,
Chris Blanch, Tree Drive Coordinator
